The new year is finally here, and before we start predicting what crazy-ness is going to come this year, we want to look back at our most memorable moments of 2014. Sit tight!
THE LAUNCH OF WE RUN THIS
We know this was on the top of everyones lists right?! Well it was ours! After a lot of blood sweat and tears, our Founder Romy Desmarais finally launched We Run This. We all want to say thanks to every one of you, customer or just a reader for helping us along this crazy journey.
We heard a lot of wedding bells this year, the faves that stick out to us are:
Kimmy K & Kanye – obviously. Probably the most talked about wedding of the year, and even though it did look pretty spectacular, it did get a bit yawn towards the end.
George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin – the most eligible bachelor finally got married and he did not disappoint. If you didn’t love him before, the fact he got married to a beauty with brains definitely earnt your respect.
Lauren Conrad & William Tell – it may not have been as publicised as the others, but that’s something we love. She kept it classy (as always) and stylish (as always). We love you Lauren!
Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt – even though everyone basically thought they were already married, it still managed to make big news! The couple finally tied the knot, and managed to do it in secret?!
The selfie doesn’t seem to be going anywhere yet and when Ellen Degeneres went for the most retweets of a photo ever with a celeb selfie at the oscars, it seems everyone wanted to copy. We don’t understand why she didn’t just use a selfie stick, she seems to be the only one without one!
SOLANGE & JAY
It would be the big elephant in the room if we didn’t mention the chaos between Solange and Jay Z. For the first time we got a look into the privates lives of the A-listers and it did not look pretty…
KIM KARDASHIAN X PAPER MAG
Let’s be honest, I don’t think anyone knows what magazine this shoot was for, something else was distracting us on the front page. What makes it most memorable for us, is all the parody pictures.
Like a selfie, the emoji craze has not ended yet. We’re guilty for loving emojis a little too much, but who doesn’t?!
